- Who told you that? Both configurations ought to give you similar performance,
- otherwise it's not understandle why Apollo placed two SIMM sockets on the
- board in the first place. Having said that, I've noticed posts from users
- who say that the Blizzard 1230-IV board can accept ONE 60ns SIMM but two
- (with SCSI add-on) 70ns SIMMs, which I think is a bit of unfair penalty, but
- I've read nothing about the Apollo. Anyway, I would advise you to go with
- the one 4Meg SIMM, which may be slightly cheaper than two 2Meg SIMMs, and
- leave one socket free from future RAM... you'll definitely need it!
